HOW TO GET A BHUTAN TRAVEL PERMIT OR VISA
This is perhaps the most important first step a traveller should find out when planning to visit Bhutan. There are many different kinds of visas but the most relevant for a tourist intending to visit Bhutan is the Tourist visa.
For all nationals except India
>Prior to your arrival to Bhutan, you need to have an approved visa from the Department of Immigration.
>With the change in tourism policy, you can now choose to apply for your own visa at https://immi.gov.bt/home/. Complete the form and make the daily SDF payment depending on the number of days you will spend in Bhutan. Other than the visa, you will also have to arrange for a guide as all tours to Bhutan has to be guided tour, a vehicle and all accomodations.
>OR if you can't be bothered with the hassle of booking it yourself but rather prefer a seamless travel, then get in touch with us or any local tour operator in Bhutan. We can arrange everything from visa processing, to hotel bookings, flight bookings, professional guide, driver & vehicle bookings, etc.
> Travelling to Bhutan can't be done last minute as visa processing and arranging other logistics takes time so make sure to give us sufficient time for smoother arrangement of your travel needs. If you wish to travel on festival dates, then the advance bookings has to be 3-6 months as flights tend to get pre-booked very early. Get in touch to find out more!
