HOW CAN I APPLY FOR A VISA TO BHUTAN

Greetings travellers,
My name is Kinga and in this blog, I will cover a short and detailed information as to how you can apply for a visa if you are visiting Bhutan. 
There are 2 ways to getting your visa arranged:

Option 1: Self application (FOR ALL NATIONALS EXCEPT INDIA)

The first option is to apply the tourist visa yourself at this link https://bhutan.travel/visa. The process is very simple and straightforward. Simply follow the steps and instructions and submit your application once completed. 
Document's required to apply for the visa are:

1. E-copy passport size photo

2. E-copy passport bio page

3. Arrival and departure date

4. A bank debit / credit card to make the visa fee of USD 100pp/night & one time visa application fee of USD 40$ payment. 

Option 2: Tour operator to apply on your behalf

The second option is to let tour operators apply for you visa and arrange other logistics. These service is provided at no cost. Most travellers prefer their holiday/vacation to be smooth and as hassle free as possible. This is exactly what we as tour operators provide to our guest. FOR NATIONAL OF INDIA

You do not need a visa. Instead you will require a permit which you can apply online prior to your arrival and get it approved or you can get it at the immigration gate upon arrival. The per night SDF is INR. 1200pp. 2000 Rs denominations are not accepted so bring it either in 100 or 500 Rs. denominations.
