5 Nights & 6 Days in Bhutan


Day 1 (Paro to Thimphu)

After being greeted at the Paro Airport, we'll embark on our journey to the vibrant capital city of Thimphu. Sit back, relax, and take in the breathtaking scenery as we traverse through the majestic Bhutanese landscape.

Day 2 (Thimphu)

Our day begins with a visit to the charming Takin Preserve, where we'll have the opportunity to observe the unique national animal of Bhutan, the Takin. Next, we'll ascend to the iconic Buddha Point, where the massive Buddha Dordenma statue provides a stunning panoramic view of the valley.

After a delightful lunch, we'll explore the Simply Bhutan Museum, an interactive and immersive experience that showcases the rich culture and traditions of this Himalayan kingdom. Our cultural immersion continues at Zorig Chusum, where we'll witness the intricate craftsmanship of Bhutanese artisans.

As the day winds down, we'll visit the Tashichodzong viewpoint for a magnificent view of the majestic fortress-monastery, followed by a stroll through the lively Kaja Throm, where you can mingle with locals and browse through an array of handcrafted souvenirs at the Craft Bazaar. To cap off the day, we'll enjoy a leisurely evening stroll through the streets of Thimphu, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this unique capital city.

Day 3 (Thimphu to Punakha)

After a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to the picturesque Punakha Valley. Along the way, we'll stop for a short hike to the Chimi Lhakhang, a temple renowned for its unique fertility rituals.

Upon arrival in Punakha, we'll visit the iconic Punakha Dzong, a striking fortress-monastery that serves as the administrative center of the region. Marvel at the intricate architecture and rich history that permeates this awe-inspiring structure.

Our next stop is the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan, where you can test your courage and take in the breathtaking views of the Mo Chu River below. We'll round off the day with a visit to the lively Kaja Throm market, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and discover unique handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day 4 (Punakha to Paro)

Today, we'll journey back towards Paro, but not before making a stop at the Dochula Pass, where we'll be treated to a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range on a clear day. We'll also visit the impressive Wangduephodrang Dzong, a architectural masterpiece that has stood the test of time.

As we continue our drive towards Paro, take in the stunning landscapes that Bhutan is renowned for. Upon arrival in Paro, we'll visit the National Museum, where you can delve into the rich cultural heritage and history of this fascinating nation.

Day 5 (Paro)

Prepare for an invigorating hike to the iconic Tigers Nest (Paro Taktshang), a sacred Buddhist site precariously perched on a cliffside. This challenging yet rewarding trek offers breathtaking views and a deep connection with nature.

After our hike, we'll visit the Drugyel Dzong, a historic fortress with a fascinating past, and then proceed to the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. To wrap up our day, we'll enjoy an evening stroll through the charming streets of Paro town, where you can soak in the local ambiance and perhaps indulge in some last-minute shopping.

Day 6 (Paro drop off)

With memories to cherish and a deeper appreciation for the rich culture and natural beauty of Bhutan, we'll bid farewell to this enchanting land as you depart from Paro Airport.
