We leave Bumthang and head towards Trongsa, stopping to marvel at the impressive Trongsa Dzong, a fortress that dominates the landscape with its grandeur. This strategic stronghold has played a pivotal role in Bhutan's history.

Our journey continues to the Phobjikha Valley, home to the endangered Black-Necked Cranes. At the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre, we will learn about these majestic birds and their conservation. The valley also offers us the opportunity to explore the Gangtey Monastery and enjoy nature trails that wind through the serene landscape.

Day 6: Cultural Insights in Punakha
